Now that it's officially fall, we had to share this Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie with you guys. Cue the fuzzy socks and changing leaves, it's time to cozy up with this delicious fall-inspired smoothie. Packed with sneaky veggies, healthy fats, and protein, this smoothie is a perfect post-workout snack. Grab your blender, crack open a fresh can of pumpkin puree, and get into the fall spirit with this delicious and nutritious shake - we promise it tastes like dessert!
Heres what you'll need...
½ cup frozen cauliflower rice (we promise you can't taste it)
2 heaped tablespoons of pumpkin puree
½ frozen banana
½ a small avocado (makes the smoothie super creamy)
1 heaped tablespoon of sea moss gel (@akashasuperfoods) - optional, but a great nutrient dense addition
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional -- we like @nuzest_usa or a vanilla whey)
Few shakes pumpkin pie spice + cinnamon
1 tsp pure maple syrup OR vanilla stevia (@sweetleafstevia) to sweeten
Non-dairy milk to blend (we used almond)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend!
Top with coconut whipped cream, cacao nibs, and some extra pumpkin spice for a healthy fall treat!
